Old Malvernians won the Cricketer Cup in a close fought contest. A full report will follow with pics:
Malvern Were asked to bat and made 178. In reply Cranleigh were bowled out for 152. As you can see from those scores it was tense with the balance shifting throughout the day

The 2008 final will be played at Richmond CC on Sunday 17 August and will be between Old Malvernians and Old Cranleighans. Malvern (271-7)beat Sherborne (171) in one semi final and Cranleigh (219-7) accounted for the Old Alleynians (218) in the other game. |

The take up of entries for The Chance to Shine competition was surprisingly low. We felt that it was a bit of fun for a fiver and an excellent prize put up bt the Chance To Shine organisation. For those that did enter and want to know where you are currently placed in the league table of result predictions, a PDF is available below. The loss of Charterhouse, Oundle, Eton and Radley at the first hurdle certainly opened things up! but those that started badly but have Malvern to win are looking quids in.
